According to the international postal operation arrangements of the Universal Postal Union, destination postal administrations are not bound to release processing and delivery information of “International Registered Mail”. Overseas destinations, including the USA, Canada, the Netherlands and Germany, have ceased to provide tracking information of registered mail.

  8. Besides compensation for loss or damage of mail item, Speedpost Services (including Standard, Multipack and Freight) also provide compensation for delay in delivery of mail item.

Mail items to reach recipients for most destination cities which are subject to situation of flight availability, customs clearance, aviation security check, force majeure events, etc as well as the territory coverage. For destinations in extensive territory like Brazil and Russia, it may take more delivery time. Nevertheless, mail items will be treated as priority mail in the destinations, speeding up mail processing.
  10. Sundays and public holidays are excluded for the purpose of determining the date of posting or arrival in Hong Kong for all mail items and for performance measurement under the performance pledges.
  11. Land transportation is only applicable to the mail items destined to southern China (including Shenzhen and Guangzhou).
  12. As the port in Zhuhai is currently closed, Speedpost items destined to Zhuhai are temporarily transported by land. Sea transportation may resume in the future.
  13. Land transportation is applicable to the mail items destined to China.
  14. Proof of recipient's signature for Vantage Service is temporarily not available due to the pandemic.

  1. “Standard days” shows the required average period from when you submit parcels (Japan time) until when they are delivered (local time). Each number is calculated based on notification from each country. The day of submission is not included.
  2. The number listed in the table only indicates the average time required for normal delivery and does not in any way guarantee the exact number of days required for delivery. Depending on the contents, the article may require more days for customs clearance. The number might also be changed by handling conditions at the location.
  3. In cases if the period from acceptance to transfer and delivery falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday or if the airport security requires additional examination as well as if a delay or cancellation occur in a flight schedule, delivery may take longer.
  4. SAL parcels are transported to destination countries using vacant space on aircrafts. Delivery may take longer if there is not enough space. Delivery may take longer if there is not enough space. Therefore, the standard days has a margin of about a week.
